We're playing Starcraft 2 when it comes out, or I swear im not coming. And ill stop everyone else from coming too.

Meant to be no LAN.
Apparently a workaround is already made.

If there's no LAN at all, then I don't see it happening - work-arounds can be dodgy, so don't hold your breath.

Also have a cry about people not playing the game(s) you want to play, join the fucking line. That game doesn't even officially support LAN play ffs, so chances are it won't be played for either and/or both reasons ( 1)cause we can't and/or 2) cause we don't want to).

Yet again, no LAN feature so I highly doubt that will work either, and having us all connect via net to each other in the same room is moronic.


In the off chance either of them work properly and are played, I suppose I'll play them - but I won't be buying SC2, at least not any time soon so someone who isn't me better get around to getting a "free trial" version before the LAN.
Try to stick to games with LAN and dedicated servers guys.. considering that's what LAN's are built around >_>

i got (LFD LFD2 CS:S (out of date)) TF2(in date) most HL2's (out of date) and Dod:s not sure about DoW2 and all the out of dates only need minor updates and Jason has all of them in date just ask him where he has them shared to

Got it from a mate on 360, played online at his house for a good 4 hours or so, im fucking hooked.
The multiplayer is so epic.
Id be happy to just play this game the entire LAN.

True, but afaik BC2 doesn't come with a client-side listen/dedicated server, which Luke is working on atm I believe.

So yeah, last time I checked we're still not 100% go for BC2 at the LAN.

I would love to play BFBC2 at the LAN but the only way to do this currently is you join a internet server from the LAN and that would not go well over DODO 3g internet (that is shaped to dial up speed for non admins)
And even if it did work it would defeat the purpose of the LAN

So at this stage there is no BFBC2 but I think it will happen at some point when someone writes a dedicated server

I did see a server loader for MW2 as well but this has not been tested (I will try and look at it before the LAN)

Other then that I have not seen a new LAN game in a long time (Please correct me if you know of any ones that have come out since the last LAN
(As writing this I found out there is meant to be a new racing game like flatout 2 but better I will go investigate this)

on the subject of MW2 i know that there is a .exe out their that boots a console into Mw2 that allows for normal console commands, i think one is server creation and so one
