Wasn't there, but wouldn't mind some answers to some of the things I heard.
Things I heard:
Most people at the LAN so far, but it was horribly disorganised.
Half the people just left their PCs for Leeching and went to that party.
Barely any games played besides Gmod11.

True?
I don't stop.
I won't stop.
I will never stop until I hear the crack.

True.
True.
Half True, L4D was played for a while, as well as a few of us who played Vegas2 for a fair while.

Suggestions...
Don't host on same date as a numerous well known 18th Parties.
Don't f**k up and forget switches then DEMAND that someone who has no ties to the management of the LAN to bring one of their own switches, or be disconnected from the network because they didn't bring a switch (considering none of you even asked politely).

And I got to say it, without CoD4, there were barely any games that everyone could join easily and play without needing to learn anything new or difficult.

Probably not, no one ever bothers to come onto this site, other than a small select few.
Only way to get more people on is to yell at them over MSN, or something along those lines.

i wuld have played a few more games but i spent most of the night tryin to get my computer running at its best (which i still dont think it is) and all the games that ppl want to play are either "been there done" that or not my type of game. we have too few ppl and among that small amount of ppl u have a wide variety of generes ppl want to play. unless a awesome multiplayer game pops up that everyone wants to play we r goin to have the same problem
Alvilos has come 2 once again get constantly pawned

Too much f***ing around with DC++, when Freeman and I were using it we were getting an amazing 5mb/s. Waste of time.

Face it, we NEED to continue to play CoD4, only game that is easy to setup (doesn't require a beast of a system to play), enjoyable and no one needs to learn anything specific or difficult to be able to play it. And if you want to complain about unfair unlocks etc, well that's what you get for either not playing it; or not backing up save files/CD keys etc. It's so much easier when you just buy it legit.

And Alvi, blame the old IDE hard drives for the slow response times and such. Also, who cares if a game is "not my type of game", it's still a game, you either play it or sit in the corner by yourself. With such few numbers there's no room to be picky.

blame Mussels and Trent for wasting time with their stupid fucking DC++ if they didn't come we would have been using the normal one from the last LAN that didn't require fucking hashing and you should know by now that vista limits its network speed when there is any form of audio playing stupid fucking vista and its single thread BS or whatever the fuck causes it.
as for games if you have a game that you wanna play suggest it to other ppl if you get enough more will join unless its l4d and ur limited to 8 fking ppl and vegas2 which is limited to 4 unless its versus then its NFI. we were gonna play some bf2 just for teh lulz but some ppl like to bitch about  some games and wont play thus killing it for everyone else!! not gonna mention any names....... crusader* mussels and his fucking supcom

Why don't we find a game that isn't just "for the lulz"
Halo 3 should hurry the fuck up and get on PC, ultimate multiplayer game, despite what everyone thinks.

There are times when people aren't playing games, when they're not playing music or movies, this is generally called 'leech time' and it's the time when you're suppose to be leeching shit, NOT when you or other people are playing games. Ever consider leeching when a few of the people are sleeping or simply not there?

Considering that me and Freeman were getting 5mb/s give or take 1 or 2mb/s, there is no fucking point to using DC++; and hashing hundreds - if not thousands - of gigabytes to use on a shitty program is a massive waste of time and resources.

Poorly made and boring game is poorly made and boring. Install it for me, then I might be bothered actually playing.

Care to name any other RTS games that we could play? That don't suck or have any other issues? I want to actually play CoH for a change, but naturally you need legit to play it (the latest version at least), since most of you cheap bastards never buy anything. I know that at least a few of us have CoH and/or an expansion or two (Tales of Valor - April 9th on Steam) legit, so we could play that at the LAN although I believe that we will need either a disk or the mini-image (sure that's lying around somewhere).

We could play either Faces of War (http://au.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/face ... index.html) or Soldiers: Heroes of World War II (http://au.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/outfront/index.html), which are actually basically the same game just different levels and a few added/missing features divided between them. They both also have Co-op, and a form of 'deathmatch' that I don't think I've really tried yet.

Admins, you should help out when shit like this is going on. Most if not all of you are competent PC users who know how to troubleshoot any problems; it's YOU'RE LAN admins, that you are all equally apart of with the maintenance and the development parts of it. If someone is struggling to get their PC working so they can play games/leech etc, help them out for fuck's sake; don't just "Meh, his payed already" then go play games acting like nothing is wrong. Having you're PC die or fuck-up on you at a LAN is a shit time on it's own, but if then no one (especially the people in the know-how and/or Admins) even bothers to help, it gets a whole lot worse.

A Microsoft game that isn't on Windows... oh the irony.
Although I despise consoles in all their mighty glory, I would consider playing this if I deemed it worthy to have effort expelled onto it. AND of course, only if it was on PC.

Doesn't seem to be anything more to take a shot at so I think I'll leave it there for the moment.

Well I barely got to do much gaming at this LAN because I was fixing stuff and doing stuff that has to be done for LAN I did help at some point but there was not much I could without net since it was a driver issue and I did find him some old drives that work under XP (if it was vista X64 I have the latest in both ATI and Nvidia)

I WILL help someone if they ask but I am being asked to do something for someone every half an hour
